Pull statistics from online real money game - 2008/08/12 12:36
Online Blackjack.
I'm not going to say what online Casino I'm refering to . . . at least for now. I need evidence to back up my suspicions first. I certainly do question the integrity of the game they're offering however.
I am a very good, very experienced casino Blackjack Player, I've played in Europe, California, Los Wages, NV, the caribean, boats off Florida's twelve mile limit, Riverboats that don't move, Riverboats that do move, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, Winsor, Greektown, Pshawbetown you name it. I've probably about broke even and am ahead if considering the free drinks. lol
But folks, I swear that I have never seen a more crooked game of Blackjack anywhere than this game online. I'd like to prove it but I need statistics and facts.
The BIG QUESTIOIN
Where do I go to find blackjack statistics? Only one player and a dealer, and the cards are shuffled every hand? I would just love to log the hands I play and compare what the dealer gets online and real, statistical blackjack.
I know I'm getting stiffed but I have to prove it first then I'll BLOG them to death if I find out what I believe is true. . . the game is crooked. Hell, I'd even pay someone to help me prove it.
Any suggestions? Takers with a ststistics background?

Hmmm how can be proven the statistics wouldn't be crooked either? I don't believe there is one source for all online.
This will be a difficult journey sir, to prove.... But, I wish you luck

I’ll have to disagree completely with the notion that this will be nearly impossible. .
If a person who knows statistics were to run a simulation of one on one hands with a dealer that shuffles the cards at every deal, and a player that follows the basic strategy EXACTLY (as I do) and one knows the rules of play regarding doubling down, splits, surrender, etc, then taking the results of actually played hands and comparing them statistically to the simulation, one could easily prove that either; there is or is not a significant statistical deviation from the simulation.
If there IS a significant deviation, then I'll know that the cards are being manipulated to the advantage of the web site. And if THAT HAPPENS, I will scream bloody murder to anyone who will listen in an attempt to close down the site.
What and who is needed? A person who knows how to set up a computer simulation using the condition’s variables (rules, method of play, etc) and a person to statistically handle the output of the simulation, the input of the real game and the comparison of the two. .
I may just go to the Math departments of some major universities and present the problem, the reason for the study and see if they have a group of Math Club members (lol) who would be willing to take this on as a project. It might be a good thesis topic for a grad student.
Colleges and universities are a great resource that people seldom think of and even fewer attempt to look to for help.

Ah, I read it differently. OK, in that you are right indeed. Also, I think this is a great plan. It sure is about time those sites get checked out one way or another and your method seems to be pretty effective if realized.
I hope you will, if you go through with it, report here what's going on and how it is proceeding because this is most certainly a necessity almost.

I sometimes wonder if some games are played crooked.
It is very rare with my strategy that I ever lose, but once in a very slim time, I will and on certain game platforms, (online).
The best possible answer to your question is by playing against your self with a deck of cards. That's the best advice I can give to test your theory, you playing the dealer against you.

The fact that they shuffle after every hand and tell you that they do it is the reason it varies from a real game. And since its Illegal to play online for $$ in the US,(TY GWBush)hence u cant complain to anyone because your not supposed to be gambling online, thats why its easy to cheat online sites, you cant get prosecuted in the US.
I have done well at online BJ acually I am about even for the yr, and that includes poker also.
As a dealer I dont see alot of variations in the game, I have dealt for yrs and unless you can count cards and vary yr bet on higher counts which the Pits will kick u out or lower your Max bet, very, very few ppl win, and most lose horibbly.
Use an unorthadox style online like I will hit any 12 or 13 any! I play like that live also and I find its better that way but thats from my own experience.
