If I play BJ table with several players, how can I count the cards when all cards are dealt with the face down?

I don't know why, but every time I play BJ on a land casino, I feel more confident, more sure of myself. Don't know why really. What I do know, is that every time I play online I lose more money! How ridiculous is that? How come that's even possible? What's the difference?
